A quaint little town established in 1873, Hampton is grand in its simplicity, a destination for those who seek to decompress from a modern, fast paced lifestyle and embrace tradition and history. But if you occasionally like a faster pace, check out the Atlanta Motor Speedway which holds NASCAR races twice a year.
Hampton is home to over 8,000 residents sprawled over 5.7 square miles of greenery intertwined in the past. Downtown Hampton was recently renovated and now has sidewalks with custom engraved brick, a converted former textile mill and many historic homes and oak lined streets which complement its 100+ year old Train Depot which is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
